MA2375 Vacuum Tube Integrated Amplifier

McIntosh returns to vacuum tube integrated amplification with the MA2375, an all-analog design that unites a tube preamplifier and tube power amplifier on a single polished stainless-steel chassis. Four KT88 output tubes and a complement of 12AT7 and 12AX7A small-signal tubes deliver 75 watts per channel through the company’s Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers, preserving the rich, continuous harmonic texture that defines classic tube performance while providing the load tolerance to drive virtually any loudspeaker with composure.

Thoughtful engineering extends well beyond the signal path. Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor technology continuously monitors output-tube current and gently reins in the input signal when necessary, protecting the KT88s without audible artifacts, while Sentry Monitor provides fuse-less short-circuit protection. A configurable phono stage accommodates both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges with adjustable gain, capacitance, and resistance loading, and the High Drive headphone amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director lends spatial dimensionality to private listening. A five-band analog equalizer, dual blue watt meters, and a full suite of analog inputs—including balanced connections and a subwoofer output—make the MA2375 a versatile, enduring centerpiece for a music-first system.
