MA5300 Integrated Amplifier

on-demo
in-stock

The McIntosh MA5300 is a solid-state integrated amplifier sized for a focused two-channel system while retaining McIntosh source and control flexibility. Its direct-coupled output stage delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 160 watts per channel into 4 ohms.

Twelve analog and digital inputs include moving-coil and moving-magnet phono connections and the DA1 Digital Audio Module. The module supports files through 24-bit/192kHz and DSD256 and can be replaced by the DA2, while balanced and unbalanced outputs and a subwoofer output support future system expansion.

Three Important Features

  • Twelve-source capacity: Analog, phono, and digital inputs support a broad source collection.
  • Upgradeable digital module: The included DA1 can be replaced by the DA2 module.
  • Expandable system role: Preamplifier and subwoofer outputs allow the MA5300 to grow with the system.

Three Important Specifications

  • Power output: 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms; 160 watts per channel into 4 ohms.
  • Total harmonic distortion: 0.005%.
  • Rated power band: 20Hz to 20kHz.
