MC312 Power Amplifier

on-demo
in-stock

The McIntosh MC312 is a 300-watt-per-channel solid-state power amplifier for two-channel systems. Its McIntosh Autoformers provide the rated output into 2-, 4-, or 8-ohm loudspeakers, allowing the amplifier to maintain its specified power across those loads.

Quad Balanced circuitry, balanced and unbalanced inputs, and two front-panel Watt Meters form a direct and symmetrical stereo layout. Power Guard, Sentry Monitor, thermal protection, and Power Control support reliable integration with a McIntosh preamplifier and the chosen loudspeakers.

Three Important Features

  • 300-watt stereo output: One chassis supplies two matched high-power channels.
  • Autoformer output: Rated power is available into 2-, 4-, or 8-ohm loudspeakers.
  • Quad Balanced architecture: The solid-state circuit is arranged to reduce noise and distortion.

Three Important Specifications

  • Power output: 300 watts per channel into 2, 4, or 8 ohms.
  • Total harmonic distortion: 0.005%.
  • Frequency response: +0/-0.25dB from 20Hz to 20kHz; +0/-3dB from 10Hz to 100kHz.
