The Bedrok plinth is Linn’s first-ever plinth upgrade for the LP12 turntable, engineered from orthogonal layers of beech wood subjected to extreme pressure and heat. The result is an entirely new, ultra-dense material whose mass is more than double that of a standard LP12 plinth, offering negligible resonance and exceptional acoustic isolation.
Because every component of the LP12 mounts to the plinth, its stability and low-resonance character directly influence the performance of the entire turntable. By replacing the standard plinth with Bedrok, the LP12 gains a more solid, inert foundation that allows the bearing, motor, and suspension to work with greater precision, yielding faster tempo, tighter bass, and increased transparency.
