Linn · 343
Linn's compact reference loudspeaker and the first designed around its Pistonik drive units from the outset: a 4-way floorstander with a down-firing 8.7-inch Pistonik bass driver in a molded composite cabinet with no hard edges, offered as the fully active 343 Exakt Integrated or as the 343 Passive with Active Bass for your own amplifiers.
Price is for a pair; choose the Exakt Integrated or Passive with Active Bass version above. New for October 2026.

The story
Introduced in October 2026, the 343 brings the architecture of the 360 into a 43-liter cabinet 13.3 inches wide. Its drive units are the 360's 19 mm thin-ply woven carbon dome tweeter and 64 mm carbon dome midrange, a 190 mm aluminum upper-bass driver and a single 220 mm aluminum bass driver that fires downward toward the floor, using that boundary to load the room evenly. Both low-frequency units use Linn's Pistonik motor system, a long-stroke motor held in permanent magnetic saturation with triple-layer venting; Linn says the two of them carry about 70 percent of the speaker's acoustic workload. The cabinet is new: a continuous molded form in a glass-fiber-reinforced compound with no hard edges, which allows thinner, stiffer walls and reduces diffraction so the speaker is less audible as a box. A module in a rear cowl, isolated on a three-point spring mount and cooled passively through a finned aluminum heatsink, holds the electronics. In the 343 Exakt Integrated that means the Utopik power supply, Exakt digital crossover, an Organik DAC per drive unit, Class AB amplifiers with Adaptive Bias Control for the 343 Array (150 W each for tweeter, midrange and upper bass) and a 500 W Power DAC for the bass; in the 343 Passive with Active Bass it holds the Utopik supply and the Power DAC for the bass, with a three-way passive crossover for the Array.
Linn's claim for the design is wide, even dispersion with imaging that stays stable across a broad listening area, and the point of putting Exakt inside the cabinet is that each driver's amplitude and phase are corrected in the digital domain before its own DAC and amplifier, so the errors of a passive crossover do not occur. The 343 was announced in mid-October 2026 and independent reviews had not been published when this page was written; we will add them as they appear. For a sense of the family sound, reviews of the 360, which shares the tweeter, midrange and Pistonik approach, describe a neutral balance, stable imaging for more than one listener and effortless deep bass.
This page covers both versions; select one above. The 343 Exakt Integrated ($97,500 a pair) needs only a Linn DSM as its source, connected by Exakt Link; Linn pairs it with the Klimax DSM: System Hub, and Space Optimisation+ corrects for the room's dimensions, construction and the speakers' positions. The 343 Passive with Active Bass ($67,500 a pair) keeps the Pistonik drivers, Utopik supply and Power DAC bass but uses a three-way analog passive crossover for the Array, driven by your own amplifiers through three pairs of binding posts; it can be taken fully active later with an Exaktbox and six channels of amplification. Either version is designed for rooms where the 360 would be too large.
The 343 sits between the 150 passive floorstander and the 360 flagship. Against the 360 it gives up one of the two bass drivers, 17 liters of cabinet volume, the Walnut finish and the custom color option; the step up to the 360 buys more bass capability and a larger room. Six finishes are offered: Clyde Built, Single Malt and Linn Heritage from the Glasgow Collection, Triton from the Signature Collection, and Piano Black and Alpine White from the Classic Collection, all with black array trim. Each Exakt Integrated speaker weighs 113.8 lb with its stand, the Passive with Active Bass 100.3 lb.
All six finishes have black array trim and are offered on both versions. Walnut and custom colors, offered on the 360, are not available on the 343.

Linn offers two routes. Integrated Exakt speakers (360 and 343 Exakt Integrated) have Exakt, DACs and amplifiers inside and connect to a Linn DSM by Exakt Link. Passive speakers (119, 150, and the 360 and 343 Passive with Active Bass) work with any good amplifier and can be upgraded to Exakt later, so you can start simple and add performance without replacing the speakers.
The Exakt Integrated needs only a Linn DSM source: Linn pairs it with the Klimax DSM: System Hub; the Klimax DSM also provides Exakt Link outputs. For the Passive with Active Bass, Linn's Klimax Solo 500 monoblocks are natural partners. For the larger room and twin bass drivers, see the 360 Exakt Integrated and 360 PWAB.
