MA352 Integrated Amplifier

on-demo
in-stock

The McIntosh MA352 expands the Hybrid Drive concept with a vacuum-tube preamplifier and a higher-output solid-state power stage. Four exposed small-signal tubes shape the preamplifier section, while the direct-coupled amplifier delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 320 watts per channel into 4 ohms.

Six analog inputs include balanced, unbalanced, moving-coil phono, and moving-magnet phono connections. A five-band analog equalizer, balanced and unbalanced preamplifier outputs, and a subwoofer output allow the MA352 to serve as the center of a more expansive analog system.

Three Important Features

  • Hybrid Drive architecture: A four-tube preamplifier is paired with a solid-state power amplifier.
  • Dual phono capability: Dedicated moving-coil and moving-magnet inputs accommodate different cartridge types.
  • Five-band analog equalizer: Front-panel adjustment at five frequency bands provides optional tonal shaping.

Three Important Specifications

  • Tube complement: Preamplifier section: two 12AX7A and two 12AT7.
  • Power output: 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms; 320 watts per channel into 4 ohms.
  • Total harmonic distortion: 0.03%.
