The Amator version keeps the Lumina V's drivers and cabinet: a 29 mm DAD silk tweeter, a 6-inch midrange that mirrors the Sonetto driver, and two 6.5-inch paper-pulp woofers. What changes is the crossover, a new IFF network with its upper crossover point moved from 2,600 Hz to 2,850 Hz, and the dress: high-gloss wood finishes and chrome rings around each driver.

Reviewers describe a refined, involving speaker with clear voices and rich, well-weighted bass that holds its balance in different positions in the room; it favors natural tone over sheer loudness. Recommended amplification is 50 to 300 W into a 4 Ω nominal load, so a quality integrated amplifier is enough. It suits small-to-medium rooms and listeners who want the Lumina V's scale with a little more polish.
