The story
Lumina V is a true three-way floorstander. A 29 mm DAD silk-dome tweeter, the type Sonus faber uses in Sonetto, sits above a 6-inch paper-cone midrange modeled on the Sonetto driver and a pair of 6.5-inch woofers designed for Lumina. A hybrid IFF/Paracross crossover ties them together, and the squared, wood-finished cabinet stands on iron spikes.
Giving voices their own driver keeps the midrange clear when the music gets busy, while the twin woofers add real weight, down to 38 Hz. With 89 dB sensitivity and a 4 Ω load, it works with a good integrated amplifier from about 50 W; one with solid current delivery keeps the woofers taut. It suits small-to-medium living rooms, a first serious stereo system, or a compact home theater with the Lumina C center.
