The e110 pairs a deep-architecture 10-inch JL Audio driver, with a DMA-optimized motor for long, linear excursion, with a 1,200-watt proprietary switching amplifier in a sealed cabinet barely over 14 inches tall. Its true two-way crossover sets the low-pass for the sub and offers high-pass line outputs, so the deepest bass can be taken off your main speakers. Each E-Sub is built and individually tested in JL Audio's U.S. factory.
Reviewers describe the e110 as smooth and balanced, with clean, deep bass that seems out of proportion to the box; it reaches 23 Hz at −3 dB. It's an easy match for small standmount speakers and for stereo systems where the sub should be felt more than heard. It has no built-in room correction, so setup relies on placement and its phase, crossover and polarity controls. For larger rooms or more movie output, the e112 has the same feature set with a 12-inch driver.
