The d110 puts a 10-inch long-excursion driver, built on JL Audio's DMA motor optimization, in a sealed cabinet about 13 inches tall. A 750-watt Class D amplifier with a tightly regulated switching power supply drives it, and the 24 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley low-pass filter, phase and polarity controls cover the setup basics. Speaker-level inputs mean it works even with amplifiers that have no sub output.
Reviewers found it punches well above its size with both music and films, reaching 25 Hz at −3 dB. It doesn't reach the bottom octave the way a Fathom does, but in small and medium rooms it adds weight and scale without drawing attention to itself. It has no built-in room correction, so placement matters; we can help you find the spot. In a larger room, two subs placed apart usually give smoother bass than one.
