The story

The ASW610XP is the ASW610 with more of everything: a stiffer, longer-throw 250 mm driver, more than twice the amplifier power and an extra 2 Hz of extension. The cone combines paper pulp, aramid fiber and resin for stiffness without weight, and the sealed cabinet keeps the bass tight rather than boomy. Three bass-extension settings and a bass roll-off alignment control let you tune it to the room by ear.

Connections are the straightforward kind: stereo line in on RCA, speaker-level in on binding posts and a 12 V trigger, with a variable 4th-order low-pass filter that can be bypassed when a processor handles the crossover. Auto-sense standby and a phase switch complete the panel. For a 600 Series or 700 Series system that needs real weight from a small box, the ASW610XP is the answer.

Key technologies

  • Long-throw paper/aramid driver. A paper-pulp, aramid-fiber and resin cone moves a lot of air without flexing.
  • Sealed enclosure. A closed box trades a little efficiency for tighter, better-controlled bass.
  • Adjustable bass extension. Three alignments (18, 23 and 28 Hz at –6 dB) plus roll-off alignment to suit the room.
  • Flexible inputs. Line and speaker-level inputs with independent level controls, variable low-pass filter with bypass, phase switch and 12 V trigger.

Finishes

  • Matte Black cabinet with black grille
  • Matte White cabinet with grey grille

All finishes are the same price. Choose the finish above; if you would like to see samples, ask us for a listening appointment.
