The story

The ASW608 proves that a subwoofer does not need to be large to be useful. Its 200 mm long-throw driver uses the same paper-pulp, aramid-fiber and resin cone construction as the bigger ASW models, and the closed-box cabinet keeps the bass quick and tuneful. A 200-watt Class D amplifier is more than the little driver strictly needs, which is what gives the ASW608 its headroom.

The control panel is the same as the rest of the ASW Series: line and speaker-level inputs with independent level controls, a variable low-pass filter with bypass, bass extension and roll-off alignment switches, phase, a 12 V trigger and auto-sense standby. In Matte Black or Matte White it hides under a desk or behind a chair, and it is the natural partner for 607 S3 or 606 S3 speakers in a small room.

Key technologies

  • Long-throw paper/aramid driver. A stiff, light cone of paper pulp, aramid fiber and resin that moves plenty of air for its size.
  • Sealed enclosure. A compact closed box for tight, controlled bass that is easy to integrate.
  • Adjustable bass extension. Bass extension and roll-off alignment switches let you tune the ASW608 to the room.
  • Flexible inputs. Line and speaker-level inputs, variable low-pass filter with bypass, phase switch, 12 V trigger and auto-sense standby.

Finishes

  • Matte Black cabinet with black grille
  • Matte White cabinet with grey grille

All finishes are the same price. Choose the finish above; if you would like to see samples, ask us for a listening appointment.
