The story
Nordost describes its Odin Gold Bi-Wire Jumpers as an extension of the Odin Gold loudspeaker cables themselves. Each jumper carries fourteen 20 AWG conductors of gold-plated 99.999999% oxygen-free copper, solid core, in Dual Mono-Filament inside class 1.003 extruded FEP, with mechanically tuned spacing and length. Capacitance is 8.0 pF/ft, inductance 0.125 µH/ft and the velocity of propagation 98%, matching the speaker cable.
With Odin Gold speaker cable into bi-wire loudspeakers, the jumper is the only other conductor in the loudspeaker circuit, and pairing the two keeps the sound consistent through the whole system.
A set of four covers one pair of speakers; a pair of jumpers is available at half price. Terminations are Odin Gold HOLO:PLUG gold-plated 8.5 mm spades or gold-plated low-mass Z-plug bananas in any combination, in 0.33 m or 0.66 m lengths, built to order.
