The story
The Nova PE takes the Uniti Nova's streaming, inputs and interface and replaces the amplifier with a Class D stage Naim developed for the task: 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 250 into 4, in Naim's most efficient streaming product. Streaming covers Roon Ready, Qobuz, TIDAL, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth and internet radio; two optical, one coaxial RCA and one BNC digital input and two DIN and two RCA analogue inputs serve everything else. A 4-pin DIN preamp output, RCA sub output and headphone jack are provided, and the chassis grows to 116 mm tall.
Hi-Fi News found it "combines convenience with decidedly high-end speaker driving and listener-thrilling capability." The Nova PE is the one-box system for demanding loudspeakers, from Bowers & Wilkins 800 Series Diamond to Magico A Series, where the standard Nova would run out of power.
Uniti components are made in one finish, brushed aluminium with a black glass top.
