Il Cremonese uses a five-sided cabinet rather than the softer curves of most Sonus faber speakers. Its 3.5-way array combines a 7-inch midrange, twin 7-inch woofers, and two 8.7-inch infrawoofers for high output and firm control across a wide bandwidth.
The speaker has the speed and image focus of a smaller design, but it can move enough air for a large room. A 92 dB sensitivity makes it efficient, though its bass system and 4-ohm load still benefit from a powerful, stable amplifier. Expect dense tonal color, large-scale dynamics, and a stage with real height.
