The QBASE Reference rebuilt for Odin 2 systems: wired internally with Odin 2, fed through a 32 A powerCON inlet, with two 32 A powerCON outlets for the power amplifiers and eight US outlets, and the same star ground, dual Primary Earth and switchable QSINE and QWAVE devices.
Price is for one unit with two spare fuses; built to order. It takes an Odin 2 or Odin Gold power cord with the 32 A powerCON source end.

The story
The Supreme Reference is the first QRT product wired exclusively with Odin 2, Nordost's Supreme Reference cable, and it is built around current. A 32 A Neutrik powerCON inlet replaces the IEC, and two 32 A powerCON outlets, connected directly to the input and bypassing the fuse, serve the power amplifiers without restriction. The eight remaining US outlets are fused and star-grounded like the QBASE Reference, with a Primary Earth outlet and a switch-selected Dual Primary Earth for dual-mono preamplifiers.
Inside the mechanically tuned chassis are AC-optimized QPOINT circuitry and multiple QSINE and QWAVE devices, each independently switchable so the unit can be tailored to the system and the listener. Nordost describes the result against the QBASE Reference as greater resolution, lower noise, faster transients and a stronger sense of control, which is what Odin 2 does elsewhere in a system.
This is the distribution unit for an Odin 2 loom, and it has a place in any reference system with large monoblocks. Because the powerCON outlets are unfused, the amplifiers on them must carry their own protection, and the installation needs Odin 2 or Odin Gold power cords specified with powerCON ends. We plan all of that with you before it is ordered.
