The HTM82 D5 pairs the 5-inch Continuum Cone FST midrange of the 803 and 804 with a Diamond Dome tweeter on top and two 6.5-inch Aerofoil bass drivers. It is smaller and lighter than the HTM81, making it easier to fit into a cabinet or under a screen, and it carries D5's Signature-derived drive-unit and crossover parts.

Choose the HTM82 when your front speakers are 803 D5 or 804 D5. Matching the midrange keeps dialogue and effects consistent as they pan across the front of the room. At 89 dB sensitivity it blends easily with the 803 and 804 in level, and the optional FS-HTM stand (black or titanium) is available if it won't sit in furniture.

What's new in D5

  • Signature-derived drive units. Motor-system parts developed for the D4 Signature, for lower distortion.
  • Stronger Matrix. Thicker internal bracing around the drive-unit openings.
  • New tweeter grille. A more acoustically transparent mesh over the Diamond Dome tweeter.
  • Signature-grade crossover. Upgraded components and a better internal wiring harness.
