The story
The NAC 332 is the control centre of the New Classic 300 Series, built to sit between the NSS 333 streamer and NAP 350 monoblocks. Its audio stages use discrete transistors, and the volume control is the precision fixed-resistor, reed-relay design developed for Naim's Statement preamplifier. Eight inputs cover two balanced XLR pairs, three RCA pairs, two 5-pin DIN and an 8-pin DIN that supplies ±18 V to the NVC TT phono stage. Input sensitivity is adjustable, any button can be mapped to any socket, and a Class A headphone amplifier is on the front. Optical control links it to the NAP 350, and bidirectional wireless communication ties it to the NSS 333.
The 332 is for the listener assembling a full 300 Series system, or anyone who wants a true analogue preamplifier with a turntable and the NVC TT. The NPX 300 power supply is the first upgrade.
Naim New Classic components are made in one finish, black anodised aluminium, with adjustable logo brightness.
