The story
The NVC TT brings the turntable into the New Classic system. It handles moving-magnet cartridges at 42 dB and moving-coils at 61 or 67 dB, and for MC it offers sixteen resistive loads from 85 Ω to 1 kΩ and sixteen capacitive values, so any cartridge can be matched precisely. RIAA accuracy is within 0.1 dB and the aluminium casework follows Naim's long practice of shielding small signals from magnetic fields, heat and vibration. It has no mains supply of its own: it draws power from the 8-pin DIN of an NSC 222 or NAC 332, or from the dedicated NPX TT power supply for the best result.
The NVC TT is the phono stage for a Rega or Linn turntable in a 222 or 332 system, especially with a low-output moving coil such as a Lyra or Hana. Order it with the NPX TT if the turntable is the main source.
Naim New Classic components are made in one finish, black anodised aluminium, with adjustable logo brightness.
