The story
A floor-standing amplifier picks up everything the floor does. The S3-A is a single S3 level: a 1.18-inch laminated MDF shelf on four short threaded aluminium pillars filled with damping material, with stainless hardware and spiked, zinc-treated terminals. Spikes couple it to the floor, the damped pillars break the path upward, and the amplifier gets a flat, inert platform at a height that keeps air moving around it.
At 17 inches wide and 23 inches deep the regular stand suits most stereo and mono power amplifiers; the smaller S3-B (15.9 by 18.9 inches) is available to order for compact chassis. Walnut matches the walnut S3 racks, black matches everything else, and one stand under each monoblock looks right beside an S3-4.
