The story
The Mu-so 2nd Generation is Naim's hi-fi in one box for a kitchen, office or second room. Six drivers, developed with Focal, are driven by 450 watts of amplification and a multicore DSP running 2,000 MIPS, with a limiter that protects the drivers at extreme levels. Streaming is Naim's own platform, the same one in the Uniti and New Classic: Roon Ready, Qobuz, TIDAL, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth and internet radio, with Party Mode syncing it to other Naim systems. HDMI ARC takes television sound, and optical, 3.5 mm and USB inputs cover the rest. The illuminated volume dial wakes as your hand approaches.
Stereophile's Recommended Components called it "plenty good enough to capture, or recapture, sublime musical moments and memories." The Mu-so is the natural second system for a Naim owner, sharing the app and multiroom with a Uniti or New Classic system. The grille comes in black; Olive, Terracotta and Peacock grilles are available to order.
