Gravis III is a sealed-box design with one 9.8-inch long-throw woofer, which uses a honeycomb sandwich cone, driven by a 600 W RMS (900 W peak) Class AB amplifier. The cabinet has an artisan-made wood or lacquer top and leather-covered sides. The Sonus faber app gives you four presets, a 40 to 150 Hz crossover, continuously variable phase, delay, up to eight parametric EQ filters and automatic room calibration.

SoundStage! Access found its sealed-box bass fast and tight, with strong home-theater impact from about 30 Hz up and an easy blend with small monitors. Sonus faber matches it to the Olympica collection. Balanced XLR, RCA and Speakon inputs make it easy to add to a stereo or theater system in a medium-to-large room.
