The story
The FRM-3 is the remote MOON supplies with its reference components, offered separately as an upgrade or replacement. It is machined from solid aluminum, so it has the heft and finish of the electronics it controls, and its keys are backlit for use in a darkened room. One FRM-3 runs an entire MOON system: amplifiers, preamplifiers, phono stages, CD players and DACs that respond to MOON's infrared commands.
It is also the recommended replacement for MOON's earlier CRM, SRM, SRM-2, Celeste and RM-50 remotes. Current North Collection components (641, 681, 791, 891) use the Bluetooth BRM-1 Intelligent Remote instead; the FRM-3 is for the IR-controlled range.
