Solid copper plates stamped to bridge binding posts on 38 mm centres: the simplest replacement for the metal strips supplied with bi-wirable speakers.

Price is for a set of four plates (one pair of speakers).

CJP Jumper Plates are stamped from solid Grade 1, 99.9999% pure oxygen-free Cardas copper to fit binding posts on 1.5 in (38.1 mm) centres. The dual spade profile fits standard 6.3 mm or larger 9 mm posts, and the plates can be carefully bent to suit a particular terminal layout.

They come in two finishes: CJP R, plated in silver with a flash of rhodium like Cardas connectors, and CJP C in bare copper. Sold in sets of four, enough for one pair of speakers.

Key technologies

• Ultra Pure Cardas Copper. Grade 1, 99.9999% pure oxygen-free copper, drawn and annealed slowly through silver dies, then given a single poly-nylon coat to prevent oxidation and crosstalk between strands.
• Silver/rhodium plating. The R version carries the same silver plate with a flash of rhodium as Cardas's machined connectors; the C version is bare copper.
• Made in Bandon, Oregon. Every Cardas cable is built and hand terminated at the Cardas factory on the southern Oregon coast, and carries a transferable lifetime warranty.

Choosing jumper plates

• Measure centre to centre between the bass and treble posts on one speaker; the plates are made for 1.5 in (38.1 mm) spacing.
• Choose the plated version where the plates will be handled or exposed to humid air; bare copper will tarnish over time.
• For posts on other spacings, Cardas 9.5 AWG or 11.5 AWG cable jumpers are the alternative.
