The Moonstone stylus assembly: a replacement for a worn Moonstone, or a drop-in upgrade for a Rainier or Olympia.
The RS Moonstone carries a finely polished 0.3 × 0.7 mil elliptical diamond on a purpose-built aluminum cantilever. The Rainier, Olympia, Moonstone and Wellfleet all share the same body and generator, so this stylus fits any of them. On a Moonstone, it restores factory performance. On a Rainier or Olympia, it turns the cartridge into a Moonstone, with more detail, better-defined bass and a wider, deeper soundstage. Either way it slides on in a minute with no remounting or realignment. Its output on this body is 3 mV.
