The story
Where the SS series uses a welded tripod, the NS uses five vertical iron pipes bolted between a 9.1 by 11-inch stainless steel base and a 6.3-inch MDF top plate. The spread of five posts gives a stiff column without a single thick pillar, the stainless base keeps the mass low to the floor, and adjustable spikes level the stand on carpet or wood.
The NS-6 is the mid height of the range at 24.6 inches, right for most two-way monitors at a seated listening position. The NS-4 (16.7 inches), NS-7 (28.5 inches) and NS-10 (40.1 inches) cover everything from a desktop to a small satellite, and a set of floor discs is available for hard floors.
The NS series is made in flat black only.
