The story
Clear Reflection Speaker carries twelve 11.5 AWG Matched Propagation conductors arranged in three groups of four around an anti-static core — the tri-quad geometry of the Golden Reference — separated by anti-static filler and bound in FEP tape under an ultra-flexible black rubber jacket with copper accents.
Cardas describes it as balancing speed, detail and dynamics with transparency, musicality and warmth; many call it the warmer speaker cable in the Clear range because of its tight grip on the top octaves. It pairs well with larger amplifiers and demanding speakers but works in less demanding systems too. Internal bi-wire is available.
Measure along the path the cable will actually take; down the rack, along the floor, up to the speaker terminals; and round up. Cardas charges by the half metre. Both cables in the pair are the same length. Keeping left and right equal is the normal practice, even if one speaker is closer. Spades suit binding posts you can torque down; bananas are quicker and fit most posts. You can mix: for example, spades at the amplifier and bananas at the speakers.
