The story
QBASE Gold is the distribution block for an Odin Gold system. It is wired internally with Odin Gold conductors and takes power through a 32 A powerCON inlet — from an Odin Gold or Odin 2 power cord with the powerCON source end — into ten back-loading outlets: two 32 A powerCON for power amplifiers and eight US outlets.
Grounding follows Nordost's focused star ground with Primary Earth and Dual Primary Earth topology, on a large-scale PC board that separates every ground connection from the line and neutral traces, with an external ground post for a QKORE system. The chassis is mechanically tuned and sits on Sort Füt resonance control, and QSINE, QWAVE and a modified QPOINT technology are built in. It is supplied with two replacement fuses. We install QBASE Gold as part of a system, with the power cords specified for each component.
