HRS's reference frame alone: three 21 × 19 in locations in heat-treated billet aluminum with twelve-part cross braces, ready for S3 or M3X2 isolation bases.
Price is for the frame only. No isolation bases or shelves are included; each location takes one HRS 21 × 19 in base.

The story
The VXR is HRS's reference audio stand, and Robert Harley reviewed it for The Absolute Sound in October 2025. The frame is custom billet-machined, heat-treated aluminum with a massive twelve-part cross-brace system at each component location and damping elements placed to control resonance in the frame, legs and cross members. HRS claims boundless rigidity and unlimited load capacity, and the design is covered by US Patent 10,045,615.
As with the SXR, HRS isolation bases load into the frame as the shelves, and buying the frame empty lets you place an M3X2 under the turntable and S3 bases elsewhere. Shelf quantity and position are independently adjustable, so the frame can be reconfigured when the system changes, and a VXR Center Panel converts it to a double-wide. HRS offers widths from 15 to 23 inches and depths from 17 to 38 inches to order; this is the 21 by 19 inch size with 8 inch spacing.
