The McIntosh MC1502 is a two-channel vacuum-tube power amplifier rated at 150 watts per channel. Eight KT88 output tubes work through McIntosh Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers, providing the rated output at dedicated 2-, 4-, or 8-ohm connections.
The small-signal stage uses four 12AX7A tubes for balanced and input functions and four 12AT7 tubes for voltage-amplifier and driver functions. Balanced and unbalanced inputs, adjustable meter illumination, and Power Control support integration while the open chassis keeps the complete tube complement visible.
