The MOON 891 is the North Collection’s reference network player and preamplifier, combining a streaming DAC, configurable MM/MC phono stage, and analog preamplifier in one chassis. Its MDE3 digital engine uses a dual-mono pair of 32-bit converters with femtosecond clocking, while the M-RAY2 volume control uses discrete resistors and updated components.
MiND 2 integrates local libraries and streaming services through the MOON MiND Controller app, with AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Roon Ready support. A 5-inch color OLED display provides setup, cover art, track, volume, input, and MOONLink status information, with the BRM-1 remote extending control away from the front panel.
