861 Power Amplifier

The MOON 861 is a dual-mono North Collection power amplifier drawing on the engineering of the reference 888. Its MDCA circuit is designed for low noise and distortion, supported by two 1,500 VA low-noise transformers and 228,000 µF of power-supply capacitance.

The 861 delivers 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 600 watts per channel into 4 ohms, or 800 watts into 8 ohms in bridged-mono mode. A damping factor of 900 and MOONLink communication support loudspeaker control and coordinated operation with compatible MOON components.
