The McIntosh MI502 is a high-output two-channel digital power amplifier for stereo, theater, or custom-installation systems. It provides 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 800 watts per channel into 4 ohms from a compact 2U rack-mountable chassis.
Balanced and unbalanced inputs allow connection to conventional preamplifiers and installation-oriented processors. On/off signal sensing, Power Control, Power Guard, and Sentry Monitor support automated and supervised operation, while the two-channel layout can power a demanding stereo pair or two channels in a larger system.
