MC611 Power Amplifier

on-demo

The McIntosh MC611 is a 600-watt solid-state monoblock designed to provide one dedicated amplifier channel per loudspeaker. Quad Balanced circuitry and a McIntosh Autoformer deliver the rated output into 2-, 4-, or 8-ohm loads.

Balanced and unbalanced inputs, a large front-panel Watt Meter, and multiple loudspeaker terminals support straightforward integration in a matched pair. Power Guard, Sentry Monitor, thermal protection, and Power Control supervise the amplifier and coordinate it with compatible McIntosh components.

Three Important Features

  • 600-watt monoblock: Each chassis powers one loudspeaker channel.
  • Quad Balanced architecture: The solid-state circuit is arranged to reduce noise and distortion.
  • Autoformer output: Rated power is available into 2-, 4-, or 8-ohm loudspeakers.

Three Important Specifications

  • Power output: 600 watts into 2, 4, or 8 ohms.
  • Total harmonic distortion: 0.005%.
  • Frequency response: +0/-0.25dB from 20Hz to 20kHz; +0/-3dB from 10Hz to 100kHz.
