The Magico S2 is the company’s most compact three-way S Series loudspeaker, developed to deliver full-range performance from a cabinet of manageable proportions. Its sealed aluminum enclosure is formed around a single-piece extrusion with an integral vertical brace, creating a rigid, carefully damped structure that contributes little of its own character to the sound.
A diamond-coated beryllium tweeter is joined by a five-inch midrange driver and two seven-inch woofers using Magico’s Gen 8 Nano-Tec cones. The four drivers are integrated through an Elliptical Symmetry Crossover built with selected Mundorf components. Bass extends to 26Hz, while the S2’s 86.5dB sensitivity and four-ohm impedance reward amplification with strong current delivery.
At just under 44 inches tall, the S2 provides much of the scale, resolution and low-frequency authority associated with larger Magico designs without dominating the room. Six durable Softec colors and six hand-polished High Gloss finishes are available, allowing the speaker to be specified for either a restrained or more architectural presence.
