The Aurender N300X uses a dual-chassis, dual-engine architecture that separates server tasks from audio playback at both the processor and hardware level. Dedicated processing domains prevent library management, networking and storage activity from sharing the same computing environment as the playback engine. Separate power supplies, isolated digital outputs and precision clocking extend that separation through the rest of the signal path.
Its connection set includes isolated USB Audio, AES/EBU, coaxial, optical and I2S outputs, along with Gigabit Ethernet, SFP networking and HDMI eARC. Two 2.5-inch storage bays provide local-library flexibility, while Aurender Conductor, Connect services, Roon and UPnP support broaden playback options. The N300X is aimed at systems that want much of the architectural separation of Aurender’s reference transports in a newer, more flexible platform.
