The Aurender A1 15th Anniversary Edition is a limited-production analog music server created to mark the company’s fifteenth anniversary. Its digital-to-analog stage uses four AKM4499EX converters in a dual-mono arrangement, supported by OCXO/FPGA clocking, a full linear power supply and a substantial 430 mm chassis. Streaming support, local storage, digital inputs and variable analog outputs make it a complete digital front end rather than simply a network player.
Only 300 units are planned worldwide. The A1 is intended for systems where Aurender’s server, streaming and control platform is desired together with a more ambitious analog output stage than the company’s standard integrated-source models. It also includes a headphone amplifier, a large front-panel display and broad modern connectivity, including HDMI-related and network streaming functions.
