ThunderBird GroundGoody is an RF-dissipating grounding lead for audio components fitted with external ground terminals. Its solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ conductor and carbon-based noise-dissipation system provide a controlled route for radio-frequency energy that can otherwise circulate through sensitive signal grounds.
Direction-controlled construction and cold-welded terminations follow the design priorities of AudioQuest’s ThunderBird cables. GroundGoody is an audio grounding accessory, not a replacement for the safety ground in an AC power system. It can be used with compatible turntables, phono stages, equipment chassis and grounding devices after connector requirements have been confirmed.
