FireBird Constant-Current is the source-component power cable in AudioQuest’s upper range. It is intended for digital sources, preamplifiers, phono stages and other components with comparatively steady current demands, using solid Perfect-Surface Silver and Perfect-Surface Copper+ conductors in a geometry optimized for low noise.
Ground-Noise Dissipation, direction-controlled conductors and the 72-volt Dielectric-Bias System reduce radio-frequency contamination on the AC line and ground. The result is a quieter electrical connection without the bulk required for high-current amplifier duty. For power amplifiers and powered subwoofers, AudioQuest’s matching High-Current version is the more appropriate choice.
