The MOON 461 is the most powerful amplifier in the Compass Collection, designed to preserve the signal from a preamplifier with low distortion, stable current delivery, and control across a wide range of loudspeaker loads. Its MDCA architecture reduces distortion and improves linearity throughout the amplification stage.
Two MOON Hybrid Power modules—one for each channel—support the dual-mono layout. A rear-panel mode switch configures the amplifier for stereo, bridged mono, or bi-amping applications.
